I have now backed Hexy the Hexapod, and quite fancied getting a blue one (the other colours being red, orange, green, purple, grey & clear) - as I thought the blue rather fetching in the kickstarter video, the orange being somewhat overpowering and the clear being too dull (there being ample view of the innards regardless).
But now… grey Hexy is revealed! & he looks rather dashing, I think, and the different colours of the innards stand out quite nicely. I’m not sure which I prefer, though I now also wonder what the other colours I was quick to dismiss might look like.
There’s also now an option to get a Hexy with bluetooth (for $20 more), which sounds like a rather sensible thing to be doing.
I would definitely make one of these…

I am seriously jealous of those robots; I almost bought both of them once, in a kitchen gadget shop, of all places. My loss!
